We’re on a mission to help!
Buddies Place Cat Rescue (BPCR) was founded in 2009 by our President, Virginia Hill, to serve the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. We are a small 501(c)3 non-profit organization run by caring volunteers whose goal it is to help raise awareness and educate our community, so that ALL animals may live in a world without hunger, homelessness, fear, or pain.
BPCR rescues cats & kittens who are facing euthanasia, or those that are homeless, abandoned, neglected, unwanted, or injured. All cats & kittens who enter the BPCR program are provided with immediate medical care, tested for FeLV and FIV, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and given safe shelter until they can be placed in a forever home or sanctuary.
BPCR also participates in making the community aware of the need for trap, spay/neuter, release programs (TNR) and to educate in order to help reduce and control the feral cat population in Parker and Tarrant Counties. All cats we trap are spayed/neutered and vaccinated BEFORE being released back into their colony or an alternative placement is found for them.
